Himmat Singh is one of the most exciting prospects in Indian cricket, we are very lucky to have this young talent on board as both a key player for our 1Xl and as a coach for our thriving junior section.

Himmat, a twenty four year old batsman, represented India under 19s and has been watched by millions playing in the IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore, alongside the likes of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, both quality players...but... have they done it on a green seamer at Graburn Way in April? I think not.

With a first class average of 41.5 and a one day average of 46.5, we're confident Himmat will be able to make the step up from the IPL and dominate in the perilous conditions of the Surrey Championship.

Himmat will also be providing coaching to our junior section, giving our juniors an invaluable experience to learn from from a guy who has played with the world's best.
